Privacy Policy
CMPLX Holdings LLC ("CMPLX," "we," "us") operates cmplxfitness.com (the "Site"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect what you give us and basic usage data, we use it to communicate with you and plan our club, and we do not sell your personal information.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide. When you join our Founding Member interest list, we collect the information you submit, which may include your name, email address, phone number, zip code, preferred location area, membership interest, and your answers to optional questions about your fitness habits and preferences.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies to collect usage data: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, referring source, and campaign parameters (such as UTM tags) that tell us how you found us. We use Google Analytics 4 and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel for this purpose.
Information from other sources. We may supplement the information above with publicly available or licensed demographic data (for example, census-level statistics associated with a zip code) to better understand our future membership as a whole.
2. How we use your information
- To contact you with CMPLX updates, launch news, and Founding Member offers by email and, if you provide a phone number, by text message
- To plan our club — location, amenities, pricing, and programming — based on aggregate interest
- To measure and improve our website and marketing (analytics, advertising performance)
- To comply with law and protect our legal rights
Text messaging. By submitting your phone number, you consent to receive informational and promotional text messages from CMPLX. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of membership or purchase.
3. How we share information
We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate — such as our customer relationship management (CRM) platform, email/SMS delivery providers, website hosting, and analytics and advertising platforms (Google, Meta) — and only for the purposes described here. These providers are bound to use your information solely to provide services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law, or in connection with a business transaction such as a financing or sale, in which case this policy will continue to apply to previously collected data.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with unrelated third parties for their own marketing.
4. Cookies, analytics & advertising
Google Analytics helps us understand site usage in aggregate (including, where enabled by Google Signals, aggregated age and gender insights from users who have opted into ad personalization with Google). The Meta Pixel helps us measure the effectiveness of our advertising and reach interested audiences. You can control these through your browser cookie settings and via:

5. Your rights and choices
You can, at any time:
- Unsubscribe from emails (link in every email) or texts (reply STOP)
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Request that we correct or delete your personal information
- Opt out of targeted advertising based on your data
Texas residents have these rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act. To exercise any of them, email support@cmplxfitness.com with the subject "Privacy Request." We will respond within 45 days and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our response.
6. Data retention & security
We keep interest-list information while we are planning and operating CMPLX, or until you ask us to delete it. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate for a pre-launch interest list; no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
7. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as CMPLX grows (for example, when our club opens and we begin processing memberships and payments). We will post the new version here with a new effective date.
